Please read the following Terms & Conditions and Disclaimer carefully before using our services. By engaging D&E Carpet Cleaning for any residential or commercial cleaning services, including but not limited to carpet cleaning, upholstery cleaning, and tile & grout cleaning, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
1. Service Agreement:
All services provided by D&E Carpet Cleaning are subject to the terms and conditions outlined herein. Specific details of the services to be provided, including date, time, location, and estimated cost, will be agreed upon prior to the commencement of work.
2. Pricing and Payment:
Pricing for our services may vary depending on the size of the area, the type of service requested, the condition of the surfaces, and other factors. You will be provided with a quote prior to the start of work. Payment is due upon completion of the services unless otherwise agreed in writing.
3. Access and Preparation:
The client is responsible for providing D&E Carpet Cleaning personnel with safe and unobstructed access to the areas to be cleaned. The client is also responsible for moving fragile items, securing pets, ensuring adequate ventilation. Failure to provide adequate access or preparation may result in a delay or inability to complete the services, and a service fee may still apply.
4. Cancellation and Rescheduling:
We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise. If you need to cancel or reschedule your service, please provide us with at least 24 hours notice. Failure to provide adequate notice may result in a cancellation fee. D&E Carpet Cleaning reserves the right to reschedule or cancel services due to unforeseen circumstances, such as equipment malfunction or staff illness. In such cases, we will make reasonable efforts to provide timely notice and reschedule at your convenience.
5. Service Limitations and Expectations:
While D&E Carpet Cleaning strives to provide the highest quality cleaning services, results may vary depending on the pre-existing condition of the surfaces being cleaned, including but not limited to the age, type, and severity of stains, soiling, or damage. We will make every reasonable effort to achieve the best possible outcome. However, we cannot guarantee the complete removal of all stains or pre-existing conditions.
6. Damage and Liability:
D&E Carpet Cleaning takes utmost care in performing our services. However, accidents can happen. In the event of accidental damage caused by our negligence, our liability is limited. We are not responsible for pre-existing damage or conditions that become more apparent during the cleaning process. The client is responsible for informing us of any delicate or valuable items prior to the commencement of work.
7. Customer Satisfaction:
Your satisfaction is important to us. If you are not satisfied with the services provided, please notify us within 24 hours of completion, and we will make reasonable efforts to address your concerns.
Disclaimer of Warranties:
D&E Carpet Cleaning provides its services on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the results of our services or the suitability of our services for your specific needs. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of Liability:
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, D&E Carpet Cleaning shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages (including, without limitation, damages for lost profits, loss of use, data loss, or business interruption) arising out of or in any way connected with our services, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to our services shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the specific services in question.
Changes to These Terms:
D&E Carpet Cleaning reserves the right to modify or update these Terms & Conditions and Disclaimer at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website or otherwise communicating them to you. Your continued use of our services after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
Tile and Grout Cleaning Notice
All tile and grout cleaning services must be quoted by a D&E Carpet Cleaning representative either over the phone or in person prior to scheduling. Please note that phone quotes are estimates only and not guaranteed unless we have previously serviced your residence or you can provide verified square footage of the areas to be cleaned.
The final results of tile and grout cleaning will vary depending on the condition and age of the grout, as well as whether the floor has been sealed prior to cleaning.
If you would like your floors sealed after cleaning, please inform our representative during your initial contact.
Cleaning Service Policy
All carpet cleanings include a standard cleaning solution and deodorizer.
If urine treatment is requested, an additional fee of $20 will apply. Please note that pet stains are not guaranteed to be removed due to the nature of the stains and the condition of the carpet. Any return visit specifically to re-treat pet-stained areas will incur an additional $50 charge.
Customers should be aware that not all stains can be removed. Results depend on the type of stain, how long it has been present, and the overall condition of the carpet.
If you have pets in the home, vacuuming prior to service is required. Failure to do so may result in an additional charge.
Any general touch-ups or concerns related to a recent cleaning must be reported within 48 hours of service completion. A $30 return visit fee will apply for these follow-up appointments.
